Area Restaurants: Schuler's Restaurant & Pub- A nationally recognized restaurant celebrating over 90 years of award-winning hospitality, is located in the heart of Marshall. the third generation of the Schuler family offers fine foods in both the historic restaurant and Winston's Pub everyday. Many special events are held year round.Cornwell's Restaurant & Dinner Theatre- Turkeyville is nestled on a 400 acre farm where turkey is king. Turkeyville includes a restaurant, gift shop, ice cream parlour, general store, and dinner theatre. Located only 5 minutes west of the Bed & Breakfast.
Historic Sites: - Downtown- Marshall's business district is the centerpiece of its National Historic Landmark District and offers an exciting array of shops and galleries housed in historic 19th Century buildings.
- The Honolulu House Museum- This intriguing mix of Polynesian and Victorian architecture was built by Abner Pratt in 1860 upon his return from being U.S. Consul to the Sandwich Islands. Now completely restored to the way it was at the end of the 1800's, hand-painted walls and winding staircase make this the showpiece of the Marshall Historical Society. If visiting from October to April, an appointment will be needed to visit this attraction. 269-781-8544
- Governor's Mansion- This Greek Revival home was built in 1839 to be the governor's Mansion for the State of Michigan. Marshall lost the closely contested bid for the capital of Michigan. The building is now the headquarters for the Mary Marshall Chaper of the D.A.R. and a museum. Open year round by appointment.
- Capitol Hill SchoolBuilt in 1860, this Gothic Revival building is one of three designed by architect Sheldon Smith. Used as a schoolhouse for 101 years, it is now a museum owned by the Marshall Historical Society. Open year round by appointment. 269-781-8544
- G.A.R. Hall- Built in 1902 by the Grand Army of the Republic, it was a meeting place for the veterans of the Civil War and their sons. Now it is the meeting place of the Marshall Historical Society and its archival center. Open Saturdays during the summer and year round by appointment. 269-781-854
Golf Courses: - Alwyn Downs- This 18 hole course is located south of the Marshall fountain.
- Binder Park Golf Course- This course has 27 beautiful holes, a large driving range with a 3 hole practice course is located south of the Binder Park Zoo, in Battle Creek. A new clubhouse, pro-shop & lounge have been added in recent years to add to your day's comfort. This course is approximately 20 minutes from the bed & breakfast.
- The Medalist Golf Club- This beautiful 18 hole course is located just minutes west of the Bed & Breakfast. This course can be a challenge to even the best golfers.
- Oakland Hills Golf Club- This established 18 hole course is located between Battle Creek and Marshall. Several holes can even be viewed while driving past on I-94. As with other courses this one can be very scenic with wildlife.
- Tomac Woods Golf Club- This 18 hole wonder is loaded with challenges for the golf enthusiast. Not only with you have the normal obstacles of water, sand and trees, but a beautiful stone wall can add some excitement to your game. This course is located approximately 15 minutes from the Bed & Breakfast, between Marshall and Ablion.
